Examination Policy

The Examination policy is not strictly followed due to online school in prevailing situation.

EXAMINATION GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS
The school is affiliated to CBSE and guidelines suggested by the board have been implemented from Class Pre-nursery onwards. A strong Academic Curriculum is followed with emphasis on experiential learning through planned Class Activities, Audio Visual Aids, Multiple Intelligence Lesson Plans and Modules on the Smart Boards that supplement the teaching content in all Classrooms from Pre-Nursery to XII.

ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR PRE-PRIMARY
No Formal Examination will be held for these classes. The school will follow a system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) through a checklist of assignments and observational activities in order to develop a sense of curiosity and desire to explore.

ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR CLASSES I -III
Periodic Assessments (PA)
1. There will be two terms; the first term will be from Apr-Sep and the second term from Oct-Mar. Each term will have two Periodic Assessments (PA).
2. Each Periodic Assessment for a particular subject will be of 50 marks. The Periodic Test for each subject will be of 30 marks and 20 marks will be given for Classwork/ Homework; and other Activities or Project Work.
3. The Periodic Tests will be held on a week day in rotation for all the subjects. Kindly refer to the Academic Planner for the schedule. Any changes in the same will be intimated through a circular.

ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR CLASS- IV

2. The student’s performance is evaluated on the basis of Periodic Assessments (PA) as well as Term End Examination.

Periodic Assessments (PA)
1. Each Periodic Assessment for a particular subject will be of 60 marks. The Periodic Test for each subject will be of 40 marks and 20 marks will be given for Classwork/ Homework; and other Activities or Project Work.
2. Periodic Assessment for Computers and G.K will be done in the regular classes
3. The Periodic Tests will be held on a week day in rotation for all the subjects. Kindly refer to the Academic Planner for the schedule. Any changes in the same will be intimated through a circular.
Term End Examination 4. Term End Examinations are written exams at the end of the year which will include objective type questions, short and long answer questions. The maximum marks for class IV will be 40 (for Computers) and 80 for main subjects.

ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR CLASS – XI
The school will conduct Periodic Tests, Half Yearly and Annual Exams for students of class XI. The Periodic Tests will be held on a week day in rotation for all the subjects. The student will be promoted to the next class on scoring a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate as well as individual subjects. In subjects involving practical work, a student must obtain 40% marks in theory and practical examination separately.

ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR CLASSES -X AND XII
The school will conduct weekly Periodic Tests, Practice Exams and Pre-board Exams for students of class X and XII. The students have to appear in the exam conducted by the Board.
